It's Halloween week! Time for the annual ride to Bunnyhenge and the Pirate House in Newport Beach.

Due to distance, we do a rare Remote Start from the Schooner or Later south parking lot, but maintain the customary 9am Start Time.

Expect a short mid ride Treat Stop on Balboa Island, at Dad's Donuts or Sugar and Spice, for frozen bananas or your favorite ice cream treat. We then take the ferry and head back.

An after ride food/drink stop will take place at the plaza next to Noble Rotisserie,  just north of the Schooner or Later parking lot. There's plenty of seating and restaurant choices in that plaza so you can find what you like and we can sit together.

The Tuesday ride varies by design. If you want novelty, this is your ride. Routes vary between ~35-55 miles, 1000-3000 feet of climbing, typically in the middle third of the distance range (41-49 miles). If we go to an eating place, expect a "digestion pace" on the return.

We often go to places that would otherwise be too crowded on a weekend (eg, Hollywood Sign, Inspiration Point, Porto's, etc). We are usually done by 1-2pm, and a coffee or meal stop is customary (usually at the end; sometimes that's the destination).
