34 mi, 2,887 ft, Peck Park and "no bikes" PV Gravel - Ride Leader : Bob Kellogg

Weather Notice:   Due to rains on Wednesday with more forecast for Thursday, this ride has been rescheduled for next Thursday, 2/20.

Starting at MB Pier at 8:30, we'll swing past Capt Kidd's then work our way south and east to Peck Park.  The trails here are beautiful and usually empty (photo below). Then we head up to through the Miraleste neighborhood on one of their trails where there are plentiful "no bikes" signs.  Your ride leader has ridden here before and it was not a problem, but if you are uneasy with this mildly unlawful behavior, there are paved alternatives. Next we head down a trail that cuts out the switchbacks and ends at the ocean.  Finally, we work our way back on Western and a few more trails.  Some of the trails on this route are probably a bit much for a beginner.  A gravel or mountain bike will work just fine.
