25 mi, 800 ft, Inglewood Pump Track - Ride Leader : Bob Kellogg
Starting at 8:30 from Manhattan Beach Pier, we head straight to the Inglewood Pump Track avoiding Playa Vista while the LMU Bluff Creek Trail is closed. For those who haven't tried the pump track, there are two paved loops with small ups and downs, and banked turns. Experts can "pump" their way around without pedaling. The rest of us will have to pedal, but we can work up to pumping and aggressively riding the turns. It is fun and safe for all ages and abilities. A gravel or mountain bike will be best on the railroad track return, but any bike will work for this ride. Download this route if you want to avoid the railroad tracks.
