We are blessed to be hosted once again for what Darryl Dalcin calls "Tour de France Brunch by Wendy". We use the RWGPS route only part of the way, to get some respectable climbing in before heading to Darryl and Wendy's house off of Crest. Digestion pace is promised on the way home, and it's downhill.

As the house is in a controlled access neighborhood, we ask you to please register in advance so that we have as accurate a headcount as possible.

Wendy Woldt is a treasure and has provided SAG support on many memorable rides. The SAG on those rides isn't your regular SAG - there's a reason why on multiday rides rides we've planned, the first question is "Is Wendy providing SAG?". So when Wendy offers to host us at her house for a July LA Explorer destination, we always say "Yes!!! And thank you".

The Tuesday ride varies by design. If you want novelty, this is your ride. Routes vary between ~35-55 miles, 1000-3000 feet of climbing, typically in the middle third of the distance range (41-49 miles). If we go to an eating place, expect a "digestion pace" on the return.

We often go to places that would otherwise be too crowded on a weekend (eg, Hollywood Sign, Inspiration Point, Porto's, etc). We are usually done by 1-2pm, and a coffee or meal stop is customary (usually at the end; sometimes that's the destination).
