47 mi, 2,805 ft, Mandeville Fire Road - Ride Leader : Bob Kellogg

Starting from MB Pier at 8:30, we head up to Santa Monica, up San Vicente and Westridge, then see how far we can get up the Mandeville Fire Road.  The trail appears to be open at the Westridge end, but Mulholland is still closed.  We won't ride on any clearly closed trails and we won't ride through ash.  This ride is suitable for beginners but the road climb up Westridge is steep.  A gravel bike is best for the long trip from the South Bay, but a mountain bike will also work.
