The forecast is for hot temperatures everywhere by noon so we will do an early climb (Signal Hill) and then stay near water the rest of the time. This is a heat related change from the previously planned Tigertail ride.

After the Signal Hill climb, we go east to nice neighborhoods in East Long Beach, the water views along Alamitos Bay, Naples, and the Long Beach Bike Path. A cafe stop on the return is planned for Pinwheel Cafe, at mile 39.

With the one exception of the Signal Hill climb, this is a relatively flat ride with simple regroup points and some blue water photo ops. Come join us.

The Tuesday ride varies by design. If you want novelty, this is your ride. Routes vary between ~35-55 miles, 1000-3000 feet of climbing. When we go to an eating place, expect a "digestion pace" on the return.

We often go to places that would otherwise be too crowded on a weekend (eg, Hollywood Sign, Inspiration Point, Porto's, etc). We are usually done by 1-2pm, and a coffee or meal stop is customary (usually at the end; sometimes that's the destination).
